Bring your garden design to life!

Imagine being able to see your garden design come to life in stunning visuals and video.

At ALGD we have invested in the latest software and technology to enable our clients to clearly visualise their design.

We have found, for many clients, that being able to clearly see how their design might look when it’s finished adds an exciting and inciteful dimension to their garden design journey. In addition, any changes or tweaks in the design phase can be easily achieved and ready to view quickly for approval.

Visuals and video can show geographically accurate sun positions for any time of the day and any month of the year. This allows you to see how your breakfast terrace looks like in the early morning light or how, as the sun sets, the interplay of light and shadow from the arbour on the paving of the terrace introduces another dimension to your garden.

At night time gardens can be transformed into magical places by the use of lighting. Thoughtfully placed lighting allows for specimen trees, planting and sculpture to be highlighted. Lighting creates a special ambiance within the garden and well placed lighting allows for the viewing of the garden from inside of the house too. Our visuals are able to show how your garden could be illuminated in darkness or low light levels allowing you to enjoy your garden all year round.

  • Breakfast Terrace

    The sun is rising and breakfast is beckoning. We start in the newly built house extension and move outside to early morning calm. When locating terraced areas that take full advantage of morning sunshine we like to show our clients how this will look; clients are able to see the effects of early morning light at work on their design. We have found this to be very helpful in allowing clients to comment on their designs and opens up two-way conversations between designer and client.

  • That's Entertainment!

    A dedicated entertaining terrace is located at the top of garden. A place to relax and unwind with family and friends. We used a time-lapse effect to show afternoon into evening. We find this helps our clients visualise their garden when light levels are low and how designed lighting enhances the spaces in the garden creating that special ambience.

    For friends and family.

    A view of a client’s garden starting at the breakfast terrace and moving down towards a large entertaining area. The design brief placed an emphasis on entertaining for family and friends and included a jacuzzi terrace, water features and an ample terrace for entertaining. A play area for children (of any age) is placed between planting and hedging.
